Amnesia: The Bunker has received almost universally positive reviews since its release in Summer 2023 - and as it is one of the few big-name horror releases this year (that isn't a remake) it has certainly carved its own place in people's minds. Amnesia as a series is horror royalty - or at least The Dark Descent is - so carrying that name is a big deal. But is The Bunker really befitting that name? I'd argue not, as something older fits much more nicely.
