Penumbra: Black Plague is a first-person survival horror game developed by frictional games and released on PC in 2008. It is the second chapter in the Penumbra series and imports much of the same thematic and mechanical features as Overture, with some notable exceptions--including the removal of combat. Black Plague is a bit more polished than Overture, but it's unlikely to win over players who were frustrated by the first game.
